- By enrolling in the program,
each Contractor can perform a number of risk assessment and compliance
tasks as required by a subscribing biotech company. These tasks may
include conducting background screening, training and testing for
personnel that require access to a subscriber's facilities.
- The information collected in
this process is audited by the subscribing company and the contractor
to help determine an employee's eligibility to access relevant
facilities. The screenings also ensure that contractors and their
employers are in compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
- Contractor employees that are
deemed "eligible" are then instructed to upload their photo via e-ID, an online Security Credentialing and Management
Solution from BioSITESAFE.
- Contractor/Vendor employees
that have been successfully screened, and that have uploaded their
photos online, are issued security ID credentials that reflect their
areas of access, as per the criteria set by the Contractor's client
